Heating control unit for city electric vehicle heaters (БУН)

Designed to control heating and prevent overheating of the heater and heated air at the outlet in purge heaters.

Has a function of self-diagnostics of the heating device (serviceable - faulty), the sensor of control of movement of air.

BUN performs the following functions:

• - blocking the inclusion of the heating unit at the inlet air temperature higher than (22 ± 2) ° C;
• - blocking the inclusion of the heating unit with a significant reduction in the amount of air supplied by the fan (more than 80%);
• - restriction of outlet air temperature, more than 60 ° С;
• - diagnostics of heater serviceability:
  a) on heating;
  b) on air supply; 
• - sound signal when overheating more than 90 ° C.

It has a separate 24V or 12V DC power supply to power the fan, a filter to compensate for current surges of the 550V DC power supply circuit. Meets the requirements of the technical regulations for electromagnetic compatibility.
