The convention electric heater ПЕК is intended for air heating in rolling stock of the railway. The heater is issued in two modifications ПEK-12-0,8-220, ПEK-14-0,8-220, with self-diagnostics (good-faulty) and without.The heater is installed both on vertical surface and on horizontal surface with an inclination of 10° degrees to the horizontal. Heater provides heating of rooms with a calm air environment.
Heaters are issued according to ТУ У 29.7-36828341-002.2011.

The convection type heater ПEK12-0.8-220K is designed with the requirements of economy, safety and reliability for use in electric locomotives, electric trains, and diesel drives and meet all the requirements for railway product.
Flat electric heating elements are used as a heating element. Air heating temperature control ensures the temperature of the heating element within 150° C ± 3% at a minimum power consumption, that is, the device is economical (the heating power is determined by the ambient temperature).
